Elevated on the Tasman Road Hill, overlooking the Waitakere River inlet and out to the roaring ocean, this bach has everything going for it for a peaceful getaway, AirBnb, or it could even be the perfect bite size home for you or someone you know.

Get your feet in the water with a two-minute walk to the stream or Lake Wainamu for incredible adventures, walks, swims or slide down the dunes. A little further takes you to Bethells Beach, a captivating coastal gem renowned for its wild, picturesque black sand beaches, rugged landscapes, surfing, parasailing/gliding and hiking trails.

Local, organic produce at the Farm Shop close by, Bethell's Café up the road for kai, coffee and music and local artists scattered through the area. With only 140 titles in Bethells, neighbours are known and sales are few; a wonderful, tight-knit and diverse community to be a part of.

15 minutes from Swanson Village and 40 mins from Auckland's CBD, it's easily the best option for a bach close by for those after a shorter commute for some peace and quiet.
